Guess the city....

Clues:-
  • This city of Ukraine was found in AD560 by Slavic tribes on the banks of Dnepr river.
  • Christianity was brought here in 988 by Prince Vladimir and it has about 500 churches, hence called city of churches.
  • This city displays a statue of Lenin and was brought under Russia in 1654.
  • In 1921 , this city was finally conquered by Bolsheviks and thus Ukraine was made part of Soviet.
  • Orange revolution of 2004 installed democracy here in "Maidan Nezalezhnosti"( Square of Independence).
  • Mikhail Bulgakov who authored "The White Guard" and "The Master and Margarita" was from this city.

  • This city of Cuba vibrates in Hispanic culture and primary education is focussed on physical exercises.
  • Found in 1519, it was major Spanish port in 1500 and was captured by British in 1762 who finally gave it ti Spain soon after.
  • 1898 Spanish -American war started here due to blowing up of USS Maine and victorious Fidel Castro entered here in 1959.
  • Jose Marti is the father of Cuban independence and has a statue here.
  • The last clue and you will get it ! This city is known for rum and cigar.
