Clues:-
  • This Italian city was found in 59 BC by Julius Caesar and was under oligarchy ( Medici family) in 1488.
  • Flooded by river Arno in 1966 this is the major art city of Europe.
  • Having 2.5 million tourists every year, this city was major contributor in the Renaissance ( Lorenzo De Medici was the hero )
  • Michaelangelo's David is the famous statue here along with other artworks such as Ponte Vecchio and Basilica of Santa Maria.

  • Set on mighty St. Lawrence river, this Canadian city was settled by Spanish in 1513 and ceded to Great Britain in 1763 and again ceded to US by Spain 1821.
  • This is the second last French speaking country in the world after paris, and its development is owed to Mayor Jean Drapeau.
  • 1976 Olympics were held here and Biosphere and Leaning Tower are famous landmarks here.
  • Next only to Toronto in Canada, this is major port city on Atlantic.
  • This city is is known for its film industry and Jean Dreau (1916-99) the lawyer turned mayor.
