  • In AD43 trading center established by Romans in this city of England and in 1665 Great Plague killed up to 100,000 people.
  • In 1666 the Great Fire destroyed 80 percent of the city’s buildings.

  • In 1940 over 30 percent of the city was Destroyed by German bombs and over 30,000 people die during the Blitzes.
