Can you Guess the City ?

Clues:-
  • This west coast city of Canada is situated on the mouth of Fraser river.
  • After gold rush by British ( James Cook in 1780) and Spanish, it was finally claimed by the former.
  • After being destroyed by the great fire in 1886, the greanpeace organization was founded here.
  • Center of "First Nations Art", this city is the largest port of Canada.
  • Stanley Park( 1000 Acre) and Sam Kee Building ( narrowest building of the world) are famous landmarks here.
Ans:- The city is Vancouver.

Clues:-
  • In 3000 BC on north hill of this city , Acropolis was established which became the cultural center of Greece.
  • War of Independence with Ottomon emancipated this city in 1833 and it fought with Turkey in World War-I.
  • Before entering a 5 year civil war in 1944 it saw massive bloodshed in World War -II with Germany and Italy.
  • It hosted Olympics in 2004 and is home to great philosopher Socrates ( c.400BC).

Ans:-The city is Athens.
