Can you Guess the City ?

Clues:-
  • This was chosen as the capital by first president of the country in 1790.
  • Situated on the banks of Potomac river, in 1984, it was attacked by the British.
  • In 1912 Tokyo gifted cherry blossoming trees to this city.
  • In 1963 , Martin Luther King delivered the famous " I have a dream" speech here.
  • Its main buildings are National Mall, Capitol and White House.
Yes the answer is WASHINGTON !

Clues:-
  • This city of Netherlands, was established by fishing and farming families on the mouth of River Amstel. ( this was salty before 1930, when the great sea barrier was made).
  • In 1814 it became the capital of the kingdom.
  • It has a permissive attitude towards prostitution and drug use.
  • In 1942, a 13 year old jew girl Anne Frank came to hide here but was killed in a concentration camp 3 years later by Nazis. She used to write diaries, which sold 25 million copies:- "The Diary of Anne Frank."
